At Move to Move, we believe that the best care starts with a genuine connection. While our mission to keep you moving remains the same, our team is constantly evolving—honing new skills and deepening our ability to better take care of you.
In this issue, we’re pulling back the curtain to reintroduce the faces behind your recovery. It would be easy to list everyone’s specialized certifications—and while we are incredibly proud of their technical expertise (which you can always find in detail on our website), we wanted to show you something more.
We want to give you a glimpse of what truly makes our practitioners tick. Beyond the clinic walls, our team is driven by personal passions that inevitably spill over into the amazing care they provide to each of you every day. From the clinical strengths that define their practice to the personal “why” that fuels their energy, meet the dedicated team committed to helping you reach your finish line.
We are currently in a growth phase and looking to add new talent to our team—if you have a lead on a great physiotherapist, please send them our way by sharing our Careers Page with them.
Meet Our Chiropractors

Dr. Brianna Busch | Chiropractor
If you’re looking for Brianna, you’ll likely find her in motion. Between training for the Vancouver Marathon this June and preparing for Ironman Portugal in October, she truly lives the “move to move” philosophy. This endurance mindset fuels her work in Running Assessments, where she helps athletes of all levels move more efficiently and stay on the road.
However, Brianna’s deepest passion is Women’s Health. She is dedicated to supporting women through the entire journey of motherhood—from preparing the body for labor to navigating those “lingering” postpartum issues that many assume are just a permanent part of life. Whether it’s C-section scarring, pelvic floor weakness, or stubborn low back irritation, Brianna’s goal is to ensure no woman has to just “live with it.”

Brianna recently completed the Integrated Needling course, adding a versatile tool to her clinical practice for managing soft tissue and nerve-related pain.
- Clinical Focus: Pregnancy & Postpartum Support, Infant Chiropractic, and Running Biomechanics.
- What Makes Her Tick: The grit of endurance sports and the reward of helping a new mom feel strong, supported, and capable in her own body.

Dr. Vanessa Wray | Chiropractor
For Vanessa, movement and discovery go hand-in-hand. She recently returned from an inspiring trip across Eastern Asia, fueling her love for exploring new landscapes and cultures.
When she isn’t traveling, you’ll likely find her at the crag; as an avid rock climber, she has a first-hand understanding of the unique physical demands and “finger-to-toe” mechanics the sport requires.
In the clinic, Vanessa is particularly drawn to the complexities of the upper body. She has a dedicated interest in treating TMJ (jaw) issues and headaches, helping patients find relief from these often-debilitating conditions. Her approach is highly collaborative, utilizing a blend of adjustments, functional exercise, and dry needling/clinical acupuncture to help people of all ages get back to doing what they love.
The Latest
Vanessa continues to integrate her advanced training with Acupuncture Canada to provide precise, effective care for both acute injuries and chronic tension.
- Clinical Focus: TMJ Disorders, Headache Management, and Clinical Acupuncture/Dry Needling.

Meet Our Physiotherapists

Nolan Berner | Physiotherapist
Nolan is a firm believer that “strength is for everyone.” An athlete his whole life, he grew up fueled by the competitive spirit of hockey and baseball—a passion for training and conditioning that has only deepened over time.
While he loves the energy of the city, he still carries the grounded, hard-working values of his small-town prairie roots into every session.
Nolan’s clinical style was shaped by his time in Australia, where he worked with a diverse roster of athletes, including rugby, Aussie Rules football, and cricket players, as well as tactical athletes like police and military personnel. He doesn’t just treat an injury; he targets “problem tasks.” By helping you create more range of motion and then layering on strength and power, Nolan’s goal is to provide you with the tools to self-manage your health long after you leave the clinic.
The Latest
Nolan is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and utilizes his background in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) to bridge the gap between rehab and high-level performance.
- Clinical Focus: Strength & Conditioning, Tactical Athlete Performance, and Chronic Injury Self-Management.
- What Makes Him Tick: The process of turning a limitation into a strength and seeing a patient realize their body is capable of much more than they thought.

Evan Lukasik | Physiotherapist
One of our newest faces at the clinic, Evan recently made the move from Ontario and has wasted no time embracing the Alberta lifestyle. He’s already found his rhythm in local rec hockey and spends his weekends taking full advantage of the Rockies—whether it’s hiking a new trail or exploring around Canmore and Banff.
For Evan, the mountains are the ultimate playground, and he loves helping his patients get back out there to enjoy them, too.
In the clinic, Evan is known for his “all-rounder” approach. He has experience working with everyone from professional athletes and post-surgical patients to those managing osteoarthritis or the common “weekend warrior” sprains and strains. He is a big believer in empowerment; his goal isn’t just to treat a symptom, but to provide you with the specific tools and confidence you need to take full control of your own recovery.
The Latest
Evan is a proponent of integrating Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling into his strength-based rehab plans to help reset the system and accelerate the return to activity.
- Clinical Focus: Medical Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Post-Surgical Recovery, and Myofascial Injuries.
- What Makes Him Tick: The adventure of a new trail and the satisfaction of seeing a patient transition from “I can’t” to “I’m back at it.”

Carlie Rompre | Physiotherapist
If it sounds like there’s a rhythmic beat behind everything Carlie does, that’s because there is! When she isn’t at the clinic, Carlie is a celebrated Hip Hop artist who has graced stages at the Calgary Stampede and opened for high-profile international acts.
That same stage presence and energy translate into her running; she recently conquered the Boston Marathon with an impressive time and is already for the upcoming Tokyo Marathon.
As an FCAMPT Physiotherapist, Carlie holds the highest level of manual therapy training in Canada. Her “toolkit” is one of the most comprehensive in the industry, seamlessly blending advanced manual and manipulative therapy, Gunn IMS (Dry Needling), and the Graston Technique. She is dedicated to the “simple” goal of getting patients back to the things they love while preventing future injuries through a mix of hands-on care and patient education.
The Latest
Last year, Carlie became Running Clinic Certified. She has a deep passion for working with runners of all types—from those just starting their journey to those pushing the absolute boundaries of the sport.
- Clinical Focus: Advanced Manual Therapy (FCAMPT), Gunn IMS, and Running Injury Prevention/Performance.
- What Makes Her Tick: The discipline of long-distance training and the creative flow of a live performance—both of which fuel her mission to help patients reclaim the activities they love.
Meet Our Massage Therapists

Tim Chow | Massage Therapist
Tim is a “therapist’s therapist” with over a decade of experience, but he’s also a master of the mental game. When he isn’t on the basketball court or exploring a new hiking trail, you might find him tackling a complex jigsaw puzzle or a challenging board game. This love for problem-solving is exactly how he approaches the human body—looking past the surface to find the “missing piece” of why a patient is in pain.
While Tim is highly regarded for his firm, structural work in Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release, his true specialty lies in the “software” of the body. Using NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT®), he identifies where your brain might be overworking one muscle to compensate for a “lazy” one, effectively re-programming your movement patterns for long-term relief. From intense physical “knots” to the delicate work of CranioSacral Therapy, Tim’s goal is to help the Calgary community move better every single day.
The Latest
As an NKT Level 3 practitioner with a background in Kinesiology, Tim’s sessions often feel like a blend of traditional massage and advanced neurological assessment, ensuring your recovery is as efficient as possible.
- Clinical Focus: NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), CranioSacral Therapy, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
- What Makes Him Tick: The satisfaction of solving a complex “movement puzzle” and helping a client move beyond temporary relief toward lasting physical change.

Karen Vito | Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapist
For Karen, the path to becoming a therapist was personal; her own recovery through manual therapy inspired her to help others experience that same transformation. A lifelong learner, Karen views health through a holistic lens, ensuring she supports her patients from every possible angle—from structural alignment to internal balance.
With the unique dual designation of Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopathic Therapist, Karen’s sessions are truly comprehensive. She seamlessly blends the targeted relief of RAPID Neurofascial Reset and myofascial cupping with the gentle, system-soothing techniques of Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. Her focus is always on empowering the body’s natural ability to heal and finding the root cause of discomfort.
The Latest
Karen recently completed her Clinical Pilates Certification, adding a dynamic movement-based dimension to her practice that helps patients build the functional strength and stability needed to stay pain-free.
- Clinical Focus: Manual Osteopathy, Clinical Pilates, and RAPID Neurofascial Reset.
- What Makes Her Tick: The joy of continuous learning and the reward of helping others navigate their own wellness journeys with confidence.

Saige Bell | Massage Therapist
Saige is driven by a lifelong interest in holistic healing and the belief that when our bodies move freely, our entire quality of life improves. She specializes in a “best of both worlds” approach—combining therapeutic techniques like RAPID (lower body) and cupping to restore range of motion with relaxation methods that help the nervous system reset.
For Saige, massage is more than just a treatment; it’s a vital tool for helping the body inhabit its most comfortable, capable state.
The Latest
Driven by a deep curiosity about how the body heals, Saige has recently embarked on a four-year journey to study Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This pursuit will further broaden her ability to offer comprehensive, multi-dimensional care to the Calgary community.
- Clinical Focus: RAPID Neurofascial Reset (Lower Body), Therapeutic Cupping, and Restorative Massage.
- What Makes Her Tick: The fascinating science of the body’s capacity to heal and the fulfillment of helping others find their way back to wellness.
Friendly Reminder: Most insurance benefits reset at the start of the year
Unless your plan states otherwise, coverage typically renews annually. That means it’s the perfect time to start using your benefits and make 2026 the year you prioritize your health, healing, and a pain-free body.
