Move Smarter, Feel Better: Discover Clinical Pilates in Calgary
True movement comes from control, confidence, and deep body awareness. At Move To Move, our Clinical Pilates helps you rebuild safe, purposeful movement—whether you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking better everyday function. Led by certified therapists, this approach builds resilience from the inside out.
What Is Clinical Pilates?
Clinical Pilates is a rehabilitation-based form of movement led by a Physiotherapist or Manual Osteopathic Therapist with specialized certification. Unlike the more general Pilates classes you might take at a fitness studio, this approach is tailored specifically to your unique body, personal goals, and movement history. While traditional Pilates is excellent for general fitness, it isn’t designed to address pain, injury, or specific biomechanical limitations.
At Move To Move, we integrate Clinical Pilates into your overall care plan to complement your rehabilitation treatment. Your sessions are guided by a clinician who deeply understands injury, biomechanics, and functional movement. Every exercise is selected and modified based on your initial Clinical Pilates Assessment, ensuring that every movement serves a specific therapeutic purpose rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
To ensure precision and progress, we utilize specialized equipment including the Reformer, Tower, and Wunda Chair. These tools provide the necessary resistance and support to help you move with more control, ultimately building a stronger, more resilient foundation for your everyday life.
