Karyn Robb is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for movement and rehabilitation. Her journey into physiotherapy was inspired by a lifelong dedication to athletics, beginning with a competitive figure skating career that exposed her to Olympic weightlifting and rigorous training regimes.
In pursuit of new challenges and methodologies, Karyn embraced CrossFit, which reignited her enthusiasm for fitness and dynamic movement following the conclusion of her figure skating pursuits. Her athletic endeavors expanded further into Obstacle Course Racing, golfing, trail running, and mountain biking after relocating to Calgary.
Under the mentorship of Bonar & Lea, Karyn delved into the principles of movement and embraced Ido Portal’s teachings, enriching her understanding of functional fitness and holistic rehabilitation approaches. Her evolution continued at Move to Move, where she attained certifications in Functional Range Anatomy (FR Upper & FRC), marking a transformative phase in her treatment philosophy.
Karyn firmly believes in the fundamental role of mobility, strength, and movement patterns in achieving optimal health and rehabilitation outcomes. Her approach emphasizes empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to actively participate in their own recovery journeys. Passionate about education and patient empowerment, Karyn is committed to fostering a collaborative environment where each individual can achieve their highest potential in movement and wellness.
